Vodafone mobile broadband pay as you go
Vodafone recently launched a new pay as you go broadband service for mobile broadband users. Their product is called the “Top up and Go” service – it is a really good choice if you do not use the internet much but want to have the flexibility of accessing the internet from anywhere. Vodafone provide the fastest mobile broadband speeds in the UK – setting the benchmark at broadband speeds of 3.6Mb per second (average speeds of 1Mb per second are more likely).
£39 buys you the initial mobile broadband dongle and it comes with 1Gb worth of data pre-allocated. Further data downloads can be purchased at £15 for each 1Gb worth of data.

On the Vodafone PAYG service, you must use the date allocation within 270 days of purchase (see the vodafone website for the latest terms and conditions on this).
Mobile broadband offers from other suppliers
Other mobile broadband providers – noteably O2 and Three mobile broadband – offer better deals in terms of bang for you buck; they offer mobile broadband top-ups of 3Gb for £15. However, you need to use the extra pay as you go credit within 30 days of making the downloads active.
